Hold onto your hats! The new F102 cooker hood from Mertz has landed. Like a breath of fresh air, this architecturally-inspired kitchen appliance is a winner on many levels.
Not only does the F102 boast an unusual box shape reminiscent of Bauhaus design, it incorporates an integral shelf for storage or display, high performance touch controls and an auto heat sensor.
Made from white or black glass with mark-resistant brushed stainless steel sides, this innovative 90 cm wide extractor is notable for its box-within-a-box styling. The inner stainless steel lined cavity is ideal for displaying a favourite bowl, or for keeping herbs and spices close at hand.
In use, the F102 has a powerful extraction capacity of 600 cubic metres per hour, controlled via 4-speed touch controls with user-friendly 5, 10 and 15 minute timer facility. A heat sensor sets the extraction speed automatically according to the level of heat from the hob, while perimeter laminar flow (PLF) function concentrates the fumes at the edges exhausting them before they escape into the room. PLF has two great benefits – excellent aesthetics (no visible grease filters) and easier cleaning.
Ideal for recirculation use, this dynamic appliance also incorporates 3 LED lights to illuminate the hob below, and washable aluminium grease filters.
