AEG Neue Kollektion appliances chosen for Eco Village Demonstration House
AEG is delighted that its appliances were selected for the Eco Village Demonstration House kitchen which was opened in Bicester this month by local MP for North Oxfordshire, Tony Baldry.
This exciting new property is not a show house, but a building that show-cases the very latest in green technologies. Members of the public will be able to visit the building and learn how a greener home can save money and help the environment.
The Demonstrator Building contains many green features and technologies and includes the following from AEG:
- AEG Neue Kollektion single ovens BE2003020M which is A-10% energy rated,
- Slimline AEG F78400Vi0P dishwasher which consumes as little as 0.78kwh. This has an automatic programme which senses how dirty the dishes are and washes them using only the water and energy necessary, therefore ensuring only the electricity needed is used.
- The A+ rated fridge freezer like AEG SCS51810S0. This roomy 283 litres model uses just 307kWh pa – 0.84kWh per day.
- AEG HK654200FB induction hob. An induction hob is one of the most efficient types of hobs. It automatically senses how large each pot is and uses only the energy required.
- AEG ProTex machine in the house offers an energy efficiency of A-40% (that’s 40% more efficient than an A rated model) thanks to the Advanced Washing Technology shower, inverter motor and high precision flow meter.
