Chamber Furniture – The best of traditional cabinetmaking skills combined with the latest in technology
Chamber Furnitures clients spent many months searching for their perfect kitchen and did a lot of research to find just the right kitchen — they were then recommended to Scott Nicholson, MD. The recommendation came from a friend who had a Chamber kitchen fitted many years ago and it was still in perfect condition and they said that the service was second to none – so they felt very secure in using Chamber Furniture.
The space where they wanted to have the kitchen had been two rooms and so they gutted it to create one large extension from which they created a living area including kitchen, dining room, sitting room and media area (which Scott subsequently also designed media furniture for too).
This Chamber handless veneered walnut kitchen was designed with extra high wall cupboards that fit flush with the wall to create a look of ‘furniture’ rather than a conventional kitchen. White worktops in polished super white quartz stone were chosen to contrast with the dark wood. The client particularly loves the worktops as there are flecks in it that reflect the light!
A ‘secret door’ which looks like part of the run of cupboards leads on to the utiltiy room – which the clients say always give people a surprise! Also in the same run there is a cupboard with doors on concealed hinges with touch latches which enable the centre doors to fully retract effortlessly to reveal a cooking/prep area. Contained within this cupboard are two Miele ovens, shelving space for small appliances and food storage – these are just two of Chambers favoured signature design details.
The clients are more than happy with the not only their kitchen but also Chambers excellent service too!
