John Lewis introduces its most energy efficient collection of large appliances

Key products in the A-rated John Lewis collection include the JLTDC12 Condensor Sensor Tumble Dryer £599, which has an outstanding ‘A’ energy rating and dries a 7kg load with a reverse-tumble action that reduces creasing by keeping the clothes loose as they dry in the stainless steel drum. It also benefits from an easy-to-clean fluff filter, internal light and a delay timer function for up to 20 hours.
The JLWD1610 low energy washer dryer, £699 with its huge 8kg wash and 6kg drying capacity is perfect for large households with a small kitchen. It also boasts a 1600rpm spin and three automatic drying settings with sensor control ranging from ‘extra dry’ to ‘iron dry’.
