Neff introduces a new range of slideaway door ovens with AquaAssist® to enhance your everyday cooking options
AquaAssist® is the name of Neff’s latest cooking concept. It brings together two established elements of Neff expertise – namely built in ovens and steam competence – to create an ingenious new method of food preparation which adds extra moisture to the cooking process. In conjunction with seven cooking functions, the addition of AquaAssist® not only enhances the visual appeal of food, but also significantly improves the texture and moistness of the final result.
AquaAssist® is specifically designed to work in tandem with seven standard cooking functions, including CircoTherm®, CircoRoasting, CircoTherm grilling and Bread Baking. It works on the principle that foods like potatoes, meat, dough and vegetables all have different water content and therefore react differently when cooked. The addition of AquaAssist® boosts the traditional finished result by increasing the humidity for all seven standard cooking functions. It is also ideal for crisping food such as Roast Pork and refreshing food such as bread, because the additional moisture prevents them from drying out.
New technology
The AquaAssist® technology features a patented two-stage pump system, unique to Neff. One pump brings fresh, pre-heated water into the cavity as water vapour and the second pump removes any residual water. The inclusion of a second pump guarantees that the water is always fresh and also avoids any chance of tainted water affecting the outcome of the food being cooked. Not only is this method very hygienic but it is also highly energy efficient.
