We all want to do our bit for the environment so choosing water-efficient appliances is a great way to start. Bosch has developed a range of eco-friendly dishwashers, washing machines and washer dryers that are low on water consumption but high on performance.

This dishwasher will dramatically lower your water consumption, as it uses just seven litres of water to wash a 13 place settings. When you think hand washing uses 50 litres, that’s an impressive saving. AAA rated for energy, wash and drying, it also offers a quiet 44dB noise level, flexible basket system and six programmes.

This premium model uses just 56 litres of water to wash a full load. A-30% for energy (the machine uses 30% less energy than a standard A rating) and A rated for wash and spin, it boasts an 8kg capacity, 1600rpm spin speed and seven wash programmes. It also offers a SpeedPerfect setting that gives perfect results every time while reducing programme times by up to 60% for when you’re really in a hurry. With a quiet 52dB noise level and special anti-vibration design, it’s ideal for open plan kitchens.

When space is limited, the Logixx 7 Washer Dryer offers the benefit of a washing machine and tumble dryer in one appliance. Not only does it use half the amount of water as a standard washer dryer, but it can also wash and dry nearly twice the laundry in one go. It needs just 51 litres of water to wash and dry a 4kg load and boasts an innovative air condensation technology similar to a condenser tumble dryer, which uses air rather than water to dry clothes.
