Revitalised hobs line-up from Amica Appliances

Amica, one of the leading European appliances brands, is thrilled to have revitalised its hobs offering in the UK with the launch of an extensive line-up providing a fresh choice in gas and electric with ceramic and induction options, each highly attractive and abundant with features to suit the modern consumer and today’s diverse range of home-cooked meals

All Amica gas hobs are now equipped with OptiGas, the innovative gas burning system unique to Amica, which sets a new standard with increased heating efficiency with a reduction in gas consumption by as much as 12%, saving a natural resource and resulting in lower bills. With OptiGas, the size of the flame is automatically adjusted to perfectly suit the size of the pan, optimising gas consumption without wastage.

As well as OptiGas, each of the new stainless steel gas hobs boasts an integrated panel for safe and easy controls access, automatic ignition, a flame failure devise on each burner and include LPG conversion jets. A 60cm and a wide 79cm model come with a powerful wok burner as well as attractive cast iron pan supports in a stylish design.

The new electric hobs come in a choice of white or stainless steel, each with four solid heating plates in two sizes, side controls and operation indicator lights.

Amica’s popular Touch-Slider controls feature on two of its easy-clean ceramic options, available in 77cm and 60cm and a basic 60cm model comes with fingertip touch controls. Each of the beautiful black ceramic hobs comes with an automatic heat reduction system, a residual heat indicator and a child lock as well as four high speed HiLight heating zones; the Touch Slider hobs boasting a single along with a double, a triple and an extendable oval heating zone to suit a wide range of pans.

Amica’s induction selection provides a choice of four hobs, each with a pan detection system, residual heat indicators, child safety lock and independent ‘egg’ timer minute minder. There are two 60cm models – one with a low profile stainless steel frame, Touch Slider controls and four 21cm induction zones with independent timers and boosters and the other with a frameless edge, touch controls, timers and one boost-able zone.
