Seamless & sensational – SieMatic’s SE5005 FloatingSpaces kitchen
Check out the latest FloatingSpaces design concept on leading kitchen manufacturer SieMatic’s SE5005 kitchen. This innovative design feature concentrates on the kitchen as the hub of the home and welcomes the notion of this room as an open-plan living space.
FloatingSpaces is made up of a panel system and shelves – all of which can be chosen in all sorts of materials, such as natural woods and finishes, which include matt or gloss lacquer and high-quality laminate. However, the shelves can be chosen in different lengths and sizes for you to add that all –important personal touch to your kitchen design. The look is completed with matt aluminium shelf elements, which can be clicked into place at regular distances apart between the panelling so you can move your shelving around to suit you.
In this kitchen an entire wall is covered in Stone Beech wood veneer. However, white panel shelving lies in front of this veneer in the living area whereas, in the kitchen, it looks like the Beech wood veneer ‘wall’ continues but in fact tall cabinets lie behind every panel – so the panels here are in fact cleverly designed handle-less doors. The white shelves also blend seamlessly with the Lotus White gloss kitchen cabinets.
UK Managing Director, Bernard Otulakowski says: “The FloatingSpaces concept is demonstrated beautifully in the SE500 kitchen where one wall is covered in Stone Beech wood veneer. In the kitchen area, this panelling may look the same but it has changed form to become handle-less door fronts for a collection of tall cabinets, which accommodate a multitude of storage solutions in a practical, yet ultra stylish, kitchen.”
