Sub-Zero and Wolf launch London showroom with celebrity chefs

Sub-Zero and Wolf, the worldwide leader in premium refrigeration and cooking appliances, recently launched their first ever dedicated London showroom with unprecedented support from top celebrity chefs.

The luxury brand ran a week of expert cooking demonstrations at the new showroom located within the much sought-after Brompton Design District at 251 Brompton Road, Knightsbridge during London Design Festival.

An impressive line-up of celebrity chefs including Simon Rimmer, James Martin, Aldo Zilli, Antony Worrall Thompson, Thomasina Miers and Galton Blackiston flexed their culinary skills in the showroom to make the opening week a truly memorable occasion. The week-long celebration was topped by the VIP party which saw renowned chef Heston Blumenthal in attendance amongst others. The London launch is part of a larger European expansion for the luxury brand, which also opened the first ever Sub-Zero and Wolf showroom in Brussels during the same week.

Thomasina Miers, one of the celebrity chefs who treated guests to a range of mouth-watering dishes including Tequila soaked mussels, and pana cotta with baked figs said: “The new Sub-Zero & Wolf showroom is not only dead slinky but provides an informal, cosy place to cook for people using Wolf’s incredibly sexy appliances. There is no showroom that I would rather cook in.”

Situated in the prime location of the Brompton Design District, the 1,300 square foot space has been designed as a state of the art venue to showcase the best in kitchen technology. Sub-Zero and Wolf specialists will be on-hand to offer technical expertise and customers will be able to get a taste of the superior performance, usability and the delicious results with forthcoming live cookery demonstrations.

Craig Davies, President and CEO Europe for Sub-Zero and Wolf comments:
“We are thrilled to launch our first Sub-Zero and Wolf London showroom. The Brompton Design District is the ideal setting for us with its central location and its emergence as a design hub. Thank you to all of our celebrity chefs who gave fantastic demonstrations during a week of events, to help us celebrate the new space.”

The showroom houses a wide range of Sub-Zero & Wolf products including the pioneering new line of Built-In refrigeration. The innovative Built-In range has a unique ‘Air Purification’ system, which removes harmful gases and odours; a process that was developed initially for NASA to aid food preservation.

A wide selection of wine preservation units are also on offer alongside Wolf’s comprehensive range of built-in ovens, hobs, cooktops and dual fuel ranges offering the user precise control to deliver truly professional results.

Thoughts from the celebrity chefs:

“’I’ve been using Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances at home for many years, I’m deeply impressed. The new showroom with everything on show makes me want to move home so that I can create a new, even better kitchen”. Antony Worrall Thompson

“This is art!” Aldo Zilli
