Triflow concepts steals the show at 100% design london
Triflow Concepts made a strong impact at this year’s 100% Design London held at Earls Court from 24th to 27th September 2009. Internationally recognised as one of the world’s most influential exhibitions, 100% Design is the UK’s leading contemporary interiors event for the contract market attracting key manufacturers, star designers and major specifiers.
Showcasing an array of innovative new brassware, the Triflow Concepts stand drew in impressive crowds over the four days; over 2000 people visited the stand and more than 800 potential sales leads were generated.
Taking centre stage on the stand was the stunning new Zaha Collection, designed by world-leading female architect Zaha Hadid. Displayed on custom-made, fibreglass plinths also designed by Zaha herself, these stunning taps amazed visitors with their revolutionary design. The Triflow taps for kitchen and bathroom by Zaha Hadid combine unbridled creativity with impeccable quality, peerless engineering and exacting attention to detail. Inspired by the movement of water, the designs are a formal expression of the continuous flow of liquid. Another highlight of the show was the
champagne and canapé reception held on the opening night to celebrate the launch of the new Contemporary Triflow Collection. The evening was a huge success; the stand was packed with designers, architects, journalists and retailers who all thoroughly enjoyed the event.
The new Contemporary range received overwhelmingly positive feedback at the event; guests were particularly impressed with the unique electronic touch button featured on many of the new models. The touch-sensitve button, indicated by the subtle Triflow logo, connects directly to the intelligent, electronic filter housing system. The button glows green when in use, turns red when the water treatment cartridge needs replacing and flashes red if the back-up batteries need replacing. This latest evolution of the patented, Triflow technology delivers the freshest, highest quality drinking water quite literally at the touch of a button.
The final highlight of the show was the culmination of the first ever Triflow Future Talents Competition. Triflow Concepts ran the Future Talents Competition as an opportunity to support emerging design talent, encouraging students and designers alike to submit ideas for a pioneering new kitchen or bathroom tap or accessory. The shortlisted five entries were displayed on the Triflow Concepts stand during 100% Design and visitors were given the opportunity to vote for their favourite
