Terms & Conditions

For the purpose of this agreement The Kitchen Directory Ltd shall be known as TKD Ltd.
For the purpose of this agreement “Copy Date” shall be the 1st day of each month.
The term “Advertisement” includes all listings, content and advertisements.
The term “Advertiser” includes the Advertiser, his servants or any Agents acting on his behalf

The following conditions apply to all advertisements accepted for publication. Any other proposed condition shall be void unless incorporated clearly in written instructions and specifically accepted by TKD Ltd

All adverts and listings are accepted subject to TKD Ltd approval of all copy and subject to space being available. Certain copy may not be accepted and all decisions are final.

If TKD Ltd considers it necessary to modify the space or alter the date of insertion or make any other alteration the advertiser will have the right to cancel unless such changes are beyond TKD Ltd’s control. Whilst TKD Ltd takes every care to avoid mistakes we cannot accept liability from any loss arising fro the late appearance or non publication of any advertisement.

TKD Ltd reserves the right to omit or suspend or withdraw an advertisement at any time for good reason, in which case no claim on the part of any advertiser for damages or breach of contract shall arise. Should such an omission, withdrawal or suspension be due to the act of default of the advertiser or his servants or agents then the space reserved for the advertisement shall be paid in full notwithstanding that the advertisement has not appeared. Such omission or suspension shall be notified to the advertiser as soon as possible.

The advertiser warrants that the advertisement does not contravene any Act of Parliament nor is in any way illegal or defamatory or an infringement of any other parties rights, copyrights, trade marks, British Code of advertising practice. All advertisements must comply with any statutory regulations. The Advertiser will indemnify TKD Ltd fully in respect of any claim made against TKD Ltd arising from the advertisement.

Advertisement rates are subject to revision at any time as per the published Rate Card and from time to time additional offers and discounts may apply. Prices quoted are only binding following receipt of payment and completion of a Sales Contract.

At least 8 weeks written notice prior to the next available copy date is required to stop, suspend or cancel an insertion. After this period the Advertiser will pay the full rate for the insertion.

Where account terms are extended to clients (subject to status) all balances are due within 30 Days of the due date of invoice. In the event of any account becoming over-due TKD Ltd reserves the right to suspend advertising until the sum owing is paid. Interest will be chargeable at 2.5% per month over the prevailing Bank of England Base Rate.

Advertisement Copy must be supplied by the advertiser in accordance with the accepted formats published on the rate card.

These Terms and Conditions and the express terms of the contract shall be governed and construed in accordance with the Laws or England. This is supplied in the interests of fair trading and should be kept for reference. All contracts are entered into in good faith by both parties.
